Role Overview
We are looking for a flexible and experienced EC&I Engineer to support our increasing project workload on an ad hoc basis. This role is ideal for someone seeking part-time or contract work initially, with a clear pathway to a more consistent or full-time position as our workload grows. This could however immediately become a full-time role for candidates suitable for and willing to take on a dual role as Project Engineer and EC&I engineer as below.
The project engineering element of the role would be to provide broader support to the Project Manager, including assistance with proposals, planning, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
* Electrical, Control & Instrumentation design, specification, and documentation
* Supporting feasibility studies, FEED, and detailed design phases
* Assisting with commissioning activities and system optimisation
* Contributing to project proposals, bids, and cost estimates
* Supporting project delivery, including scope definition and coordination
* Ability and willingness to take on a dual role with EC&I will be an advantage
Candidate Profile
* Proven experience in EC&I engineering within relevant industries
* Ideally 5+ years’ experience (flexibility for the right candidate)
* Project engineering experience or the ability to support project management activities preferred
* Comfortable working independently in a flexible, ad hoc capacity
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Degree in Electrical and or Instrument Engineering or similar (preferred but not essential)
