Location: St Vincent Crescent Permanent / Full Time Help us create a better future, quicker Role As part of the Licence Programmes team, the Contract NRSWA Analyst will be accountable to the Senior Contracts Manager for ensuring all avoidable cost associated to defects and coring failure are kept to a minimum. Through the effective management of the team, they will ensure that full compliance of the streetworks legislative requirements are maintained when responding to Highway served defects and coring failures. Representing SP Energy Networks at all streetworks local forums and acting as the focal point for all streetworks associated matters, the Contract NRSWA Analyst will work with all Energy Networks departments and with all contractors to drive improvements to minimise the cost to the business. What you’ll be doing Key Accountabilities will include - but not be limited to - the following: Communicate openly (formally and informally) with the NRSWA Inspectors regarding the challenges facing the business and department. Co-ordinate NRSWA Inspectors to achieve and maintain high standards of performance and quality. Key focal point for all Highway Authorities for associated matters on SP Energy Networks works. Challenge any defect/coring that does not meet the requirements set out in NRSWA (1991) and TMA (2004) legislation. Validate accepted defects/coring to ensure accurate invoicing by the Highways. Review areas for improvement and implement agreed solutions which will deliver real and sustainable benefits to SP Energy Networks Liaise and interface with relevant business units and contractors to discuss reasons for failure and take appropriate action to drive performance improvement. Manage processes to mitigate financial exposure to defects and coring failures ensuring the company exposure to risk is minimised. Manage internal and external inspection regime as per Inspections Code of Practice. Manage processes to mitigate financial exposure to defects and coring failures. Represent SP Energy Networks at RAUC meeting and Highway co-ordination meetings and acting as the focal point for all Streetworks associated matters. Produce performance statistics for KPIs established by all levels of the business. Manage and kept records up to date for all 23 Road Authorities Sample and Defect inspections fees, challenged and review cost and cross charge all associated costs with evidence to the relevant contractor in a timely manner. Run weekly framework usage reports to assist Contract Managers with monitoring spend and balance of funds. What you’ll bring Working knowledge of SP Energy Networks policies, procedures and working practices. Developed customer service skills. Developed influencing, communication, negotiation and people management skills Ability to devise solutions to complex problems/challenges. Proven experience of problem analysis. Awareness of NRSWA Legislation including Traffic Management Act. Experience of multiple activity co-ordination Able to make balanced decisions, taking into account all possible information available Able to consult with others when applicable and anticipate/recognise possible outcomes. Confident to make own decision Minimum Criteria Experience in co-ordinating multiple activities. Awareness of NRSWA legislation. Proven experience in delivery of performance reporting and provision of management Information Full driving licence.
