GSL Education are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to work in a school based in Bentley. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to support pupils learning and development, while gaining valuable experience in an educational setting.
Responsibilities
* Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils.
* Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources.
* Support students with special educational needs (SEN) or learning difficulties.
* Assist with classroom behaviour management and individual student engagement.
* Deliver small group interventions or one-to-one support where needed.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, adaptable and empathetic approach to working with children.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
* A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment over the last 10 years.
