Assembly Technician, Aberdeen

KBM have an opportunity for an Assembly Technician to join an innovative engineering company at the forefront of underwater connectivity. We are looking for an Assembly Technician to help play a vital role in manufacturing high-performance electrical and fibre optic systems.
Duties Include
* Soldering and assembling subsea electrical components as per job cards
* Completing production and testing documentation accurately
* Performing routine maintenance on assembly equipment
* Working to production schedules while maintaining exceptional quality
* Ensuring all work complies with health & safety standards, including COSHH and risk assessments
* Using barcode systems to track production progress efficiently
Essential Skills:
* Strong attention to detail, especially under pressure
* Excellent organisation and time management
* Ability to follow procedures and company policies
* Confidence reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Desirable Experience:
* Wiring subsea cable assemblies or penetrators
* Manufacturing subsea connectors, bulkheads, or oil-filled assemblies
