THE JOB
* To provide support and supervision for pupils aged between 11-16, encouraging their engagement in the learning process and working towards agreed aims and objectives.
* To work with pupils 1-2-1 off the school site on intervention days
* Implement strategies to support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, developing an understanding of their Special Educational Needs.
* Work as part of a team to manage behaviour positively and in line with each pupil’s Behaviour Support Plan
* Provide specific support, dependent upon their individual needs, ensuring their safety whilst supporting access to learning activities.
* To deliver small sections of the learning programme to individual pupils, as directed by the teaching staff.
* Recognised teaching qualification would be an advantage
* A passion for working with pupils with SEN and a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties
* A dedication to positive behaviour management
* You will occasionally be required to work with pupils 1-2-1 on offsite intervention activities so you must be able to drive and have access to your own car

WORKING HOURS
Full-time | 8 hours per day Monday to Friday between 8.15am and 4.45pm, specific hours to be agreed upon offer.
SALARY
Salary range is £25,410 – £29,190 per annum dependent on relevant qualifications and experience. Benefits include company pension scheme, online GP, retail discounts, employee assistance and wellbeing programmes, free eye tests and free onsite parking.
