Role: Marketing Manager
Location: Hybrid in Andover (2 days per week in the office), England with 25% of travel in the EU for meetings and congresses

Responsibilities:
* Devise and implement marketing strategies, customer value propositions, promotional initiatives, and pricing strategies to achieve short and long-term sales and profit targets for the product portfolio.
* Oversee the entire innovation project lifecycle, employing a phase-gate process to guide initiatives from conceptualization to commercialization. Ensure smooth coordination among cross-functional teams, aligning with business goals, and facilitating successful market launches of new products or technologies.
* Monitor the health of the product portfolio and evaluate current offerings against key customer needs and competitor offerings.
* Collaborate with the communication leader to develop content for product marketing campaigns.
* Collaborate with Sales to implement tailored programs that drive new business acquisition, growth within existing accounts, and retention of key accounts.
* Develop strategies and plans for demand generation, ongoing market research, customer needs assessment, and analysis of customer and sales data.
* Work closely with segment marketing and portfolio teams to develop new product/program/service offerings in line with business and marketing segment strategies.
* Provide leadership and marketing support to the Ecolab sales force, including sales tools, training content, and competitive intelligence.
* Cultivate deep understanding of customers and market dynamics, communicating market needs and opportunities.
* Stay abreast of market standards, trends, and practices, understanding their implications for Ecolab's product line and business.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional experience, or MBA in Marketing with 3 years of experience.
* Proficiency in English.
* Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet usage.
* Background in science or experience working in Life Science industries.
* 5+ years experience in Marketing - turning customer insights into strategy, VLC, pricing, product positioning, market communications, regionalized marketing strategies, presenting business cases to executive team, working with customers, activating sales teams...
* Experience selling Capital Equipment to Pharma Manufacturing - into cleanroom is major advantage
* Must have track record about putting short-term, mid-term and long-term (5-year strategy) into place
* Must have global experience
* Must have experience with Project Management, leading product innovation, experience with the Gating phase, phase 0, taking a product from concept/feasibility through to commercialization, launch phase experience.
* Proven track record in successfully marketing and selling complex, high-value capital equipment within the Life Science Industry, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Proficiency in utilizing various promotional strategies such as direct marketing, social media campaigns, account-based marketing, and other digital and traditional channels to drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
