Job Summary
University of Nottingham, School of Veterinary Medicine and Science seeks a Veterinary Clinical Pathologist to expand its teaching and research team. The role involves contributing to year‑5 clinical rotation teaching, delivering subject teaching in the first four years, and supporting postgraduate training in clinical pathology.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver year‑5 clinical rotation teaching and assessment.
* Teach and assess relevant subjects in the first four years of the veterinary Medicine course.
* Assist in further development of the School’s postgraduate training programme in clinical pathology.
* Provide diagnostic and communication skills support within academic or commercial diagnostic service environments.
* Collaborate with on‑site labs in associate veterinary practices for guidance and support.
* Engage in research activities, collaborating with existing research teams.
Qualifications
* Registered veterinary degree with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
* Postgraduate training programme in veterinary clinical pathology or equivalent experience.
* Experience working in academic or commercial diagnostic service environments.
* Strong diagnostic and communication skills.
