Hays are working wih a Family Law form in Huddersfield and they wre looking to appoint a Legal Secretary. This is a key role providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to their lawyers, ensuring the smooth running of the department and delivering exceptional client care.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Provide secretarial support to fee earners in a busy, fast-paced environment.
* Type correspondence and legal documents accurately and efficiently
* Handle mediation enquiries and open mediation files.
* Schedule appointments and manage diaries.
* Answer telephone calls, liaising professionally with clients and solicitors.
* Maintain confidentiality and security of all client documentation.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes.
* Assist with drafting new precedents and liaise with other administrative staff.
* Work autonomously with a high degree of self-organisation.
