About the Role
You will be an integral part of the Dukes Golf operation team during our busy high season. Your role will support the profitability and operations of all golf outlets at the resort and assist the Golf Core team. This is a great opportunity to gain broad experience across different departments, with potential to return to the resort in future roles.
Key areas you'll support include:
Guest Experience
* Exceed guest and member expectations through excellent service.
* Follow up on feedback via various methods, including digital and hard copy.
Pro Shops
* Provide excellent customer service and support customer needs and inquiries.
* Maintain shop displays and stock levels.
* Assist with creative ideas to increase sales.
Golf Operations
* Manage and maintain the buggy store.
* Oversee daily buggy operations.
* Welcome golfers as a 1st Tee Starter, offering advice on tee boxes and course layout.
* Advise on pace of play, course conditions, and amenities such as the Half Way House and driving range.
* Ensure high standards at arrival and organize tee sheets, including prepayments.
Driving Range
* Provide and clear range balls, maintaining high standards.
* No prior experience required—training will be provided.
* Must have excellent customer service skills and a desire to learn about golf operations.
* Ability to travel to Dukes Golf Course is essential.
* Experience in hospitality or golf operations is desirable but not essential.
