Due to continued company growth, we are seeking to appoint a Class 2 Jet Vac Driver / Operator to join our Leeds Depot. Responsibilities Operate HGV Class 1 vacuum tankers for the safe collection, transportation, and disposal of liquid waste, sludge, and other materials. Carry out both local and nationwide deliveries and collections, ensuring adherence to driving hours, route plans, and client schedules. Complete pre-use inspections and routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance. Safely load and unload materials using appropriate hoses, fittings, and pumping systems. Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries, disposal notes, and waste transfer documentation. Work closely with dispatch and operations teams to coordinate routes and schedules efficiently. Adhere strictly to environmental, and Health & Safety regulations at all times. Carry out tank cleaning and decontamination work as required in line with operational procedures. Represent Quest Waste Management professionally on client sites, maintaining high standards of customer service and site conduct. Report any incidents, defects, or near misses promptly to management. Ensure vehicles and equipment are cleaned, maintained, and presented to company standards. Support team members and assist with training and mentoring when required. Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management. Requirements Full UK driving licence (maximum of 6 penalty points). Driver CPC (required). Tachograph Card (required). Valid CSCS card (or willingness to obtain). Keen interest in drainage, waste management, or related utilities sectors. Practical, hands-on attitude with the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Basic IT skills and a positive approach to learning new systems and processes.
