What You'll Be Doing:
* Assess and manage product lines by applying structured category management tools, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and supplier innovation.
* Develop and present actionable category development plans across departments to drive consistency and performance.
* Execute periodic product reviews and refreshes in accordance with internal timelines.
* Prepare for seasonal shifts in demand by working collaboratively on stock forecasting strategies.
* Monitor product success metrics, including volume, margin, and market share, and take steps to optimise performance.
* Conduct competitor benchmarking and supplier cost reviews to sustain a compelling commercial offer.
* Secure favourable terms with suppliers, ensuring compliance with internal procurement frameworks and regional guidelines.
* Manage promotional pricing levers such as trade deals, discounts, and incentive programs to reinforce brand strength and value.
What You'll Need:
* Minimum 1 year of experience in buying, procurement, or category support within food, retail, or wholesale operations.
* Commercially minded with strong numerical and analytical abilities.
* Able to interpret trends, assess market dynamics, and make informed buying decisions quickly.
* Confident communicator with proven negotiation and relationship-building skills.
