Job Description: Health Care Assistant Days or Nights
We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Health Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care for residents in our 22-bed residential home. This role involves ensuring high standards of care, managing day-to-day responsibilities, and supporting the well-being of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide compassionate and attentive care to our service users under the guidance and supervision of the Team Leader and Home Manager.
* Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal assistance, social interaction and activities.
* Maintain a safe and clean environment for service users and staff.
* Follow care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences.
* Work collaboratively with the care team and communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, and their families.
* Ensure all care is delivered in line with our professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
* NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Health and Social Care is essential.
* Willingness to undergo training, including Manual Handling, First Aid, and Health & Safety.
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
