Role: Hot Tub Operative
Location: Seaham Hall, County Durham

Salary: £12.21 per hour plus share of service charge
Hours: up to 40+ hours a week, working hours from 8am including working alternative weekends & bank holidays.
Responsibilities
* Provide quality maintenance services to guest accommodation and on-site facilities.
* Maintain pool water chemistry (chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, salt levels, total dissolved solids).
* Maintain physical factors of pool water (filtration, circulation, water temperature, vacuuming) and ensure water quality within defined limits.
* Perform backwashes and check valves, strainers, injectors, and gauge lines of air valves; maintain and stock chemicals for water balancing and testing.
* Monitor and maintain biological factors (disinfection, shock treatment, algae control) and perform regular water tests with records.
* Communicate hardware issues and malfunctions to the Maintenance Manager; ensure tools and equipment are in good working order.
* Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and COSHH requirements; store chemicals securely.
* Work flexibly with the Maintenance Team; undertake other duties as required and may work additional hours.
* Interact professionally with management, colleagues across departments, and guests; maintain high standards of presentation and punctuality.
* Experience with hot tub maintenance is desirable; PWTAG qualification is desirable.

* Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
* Experience in maintenance operations with machinery and hands-on tasks.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills; maintain confidentiality.
* Attention to detail to deliver 5-star service.
* Must have transport.
