Part-Time Litigation Solicitor (Remote) - Local Authority 10 Hours per Week | Fully Remote | Flexible Working - £50-55 Per hour We're working in partnership with a friendly and forward-thinking local council to recruit an experienced Litigation Solicitor for a highly flexible, part-time opportunity. This role offers just 10 hours per week, making it ideal for someone seeking work-life balance, supplementary income, or a return to practice on reduced hours - all while working fully remotely. You'll provide expert legal advice and support across a range of civil litigation matters, including: Civil enforcement (including ASB, housing, and illegal occupation) Property litigation and land-related disputes Recovery of debts owed to the council Preparing cases for court and tribunal proceedings Conducting civil appeals in the Magistrates' Court Advising on general litigation and licensing matters What We're Looking For Qualified Solicitor with experience in civil litigation Background in local authority or public sector work is highly desirable Confident handling a varied caseload independently Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels Politically aware, with a high level of discretion Why Apply?
