Halilit is a trusted supplier of award-winning, high-quality baby and pre-school toys, including popular brands such as Halilit musical instruments, Taf Toys developmental baby products, and Jellystone Designs sensory toys. Supplying to independent stores, online retailers, and national chains, we are looking to expand our B2C presence – and we are seeking a creative, data-driven individual to help us achieve this.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced and highly motivated Social Media & Insights Manager to lead our consumer-facing digital strategy. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who would thrive in a small, enthusiastic team and wants to take full ownership of social media campaigns, paid ads, and our website marketing performance.
The role will involve taking responsibility for implementing and monitoring social media advertising in line with budgets, optimising meta fields and SEO, and creating targeted campaigns predominantly across TikTok, Meta and Shopify.
You'll report directly to the Managing Director, offering performance insights and strategic recommendations to help drive conversions and brand awareness.
The successful candidate would need to identify and proactively react to outcomes to create actionable plans and will be expected to use initiative to ensure opportunities are maximised.
You will need to be data driven, highly analytical and pay great attention to detail. Content and assets will be provided, so creativity is not essential within this role, however we are also eager to hear from interested applicants who possess skills in this area.
The company is based in Burnley. Our standard working hours are 9-5, Monday-Friday, however we do not envisage this being a full-time position and therefore are open to all working pattern requests which fit within this framework. We are also happy to consider term time only applications and hybrid working requests, although this is expected to be predominantly an office-based position.
Please note that this is initially a maternity cover role, however there is potential for this to become a permanent position if added value can be demonstrated.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute platform-specific strategies across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
* Collaborate with TikTok affiliates and social influencers to promote products and convert to sales
* Enhance product listings on our Shopify website, focusing on SEO and meta fields to improve visibility
* Implement and optimise remarketing strategies to increase conversion rates
* Analyse campaign data to measure success and adapt strategy accordingly
* Provide regular, data-driven reports and strategic insights to the Managing Director
About You
We're looking for someone who is both analytical and proactive, with the ability to turn insights into action. While creative input is welcome, this role is primarily focused on strategy, execution, and optimisation.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
* Demonstrable experience with:
* TikTok Shop
* Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
* Shopify
* Google Advertising (PPC/Search/Display)
* A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently
* Confidence in reporting on ROI and suggesting improvements
