Job Description
The Senior Financial Accountant will:
3. Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in line with accounting standards.
4. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
5. Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
6. Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management.
7. Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
8. Support the budgeting and forecasting process for the accounting & finance team.
9. Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes.
10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
12. Experience in financial reporting and compliance.
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
15. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
16. Ability to work collaboratively within an accounting & finance team.
17. A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements
