As Senior Development Manager (Corporate), you will play a pivotal role in expanding and diversifying the Foundation's global network of partners and supporters. Building on the world's largest coalition of organisations committed to the circular economy, you will drive growth by scaling membership, deepening strategic partnerships, and unlocking new opportunities to deliver greater value and impact. Role & Responsibilities
* In partnership with the Chief Revenue Officer, set and deliver network development targets aligned with the EMF 2025 strategy.
* Define and execute strategies for target organisations, working collaboratively with UK and international teams as required.
* Identify, shape, and present high-impact projects, learning initiatives, and communications opportunities to prospective and existing partners.
* Conduct due diligence on all potential relationships in line with Foundation policies and governance standards.
* Provide oversight of the central development pipeline, ensuring effective internal coordination across international offices, programme teams and senior leadership to deliver integrated approaches.
* Analyse and interpret network intelligence, including market trends, evolving commercial value propositions, and emerging development opportunities, and translate insights into actionable strategy and operational plans.
* Support the Chief Revenue Officer in defining and articulating a long-term vision for network development through to 2030.
* Represent the Foundation at external partner engagements, industry forums, and public events to strengthen visibility and influence.
* Manage workload independently, prioritising effectively while accommodating international travel and cross-time-zone collaboration.
* Initial Zoom meeting with our Talent team and prospective Line manager to start the process (we will send you the outline of the interview, so you know what to expect).
* A work-related assignment to complete at home or as part of the interview process so we know you will be comfortable with the type of work you would do here.
* Panel interview with prospective line manager and key stakeholders for the role. To be held remotely via Zoom.
* Final meeting with a member of the People Team.
* For more senior roles we will conduct a presentation interview too and include relevant internal stakeholders.

Requirements
* 7+ years' experience in business development or similar strategic growth roles.
* Proven ability to present and pitch confidently to senior (Director-level and above) audiences in corporate or equivalent settings.
* A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales and growth targets.
* Experience shaping or influencing network or partnership strategies at an organisational level.
* An established network of contacts across large or multinational companies and/or start-up ecosystems - ideally connected to sustainability or sectors relevant to the circular economy.
* Strong communication, self-awareness, and organisational skills, with a proactive and trustworthy approach.
* Willingness to travel and genuine interest in our mission and the circular economy.
Desired
* Experience working in or contributing to the circular economy space.
* Awareness of the current circular economy landscape, key players, and emerging trends.
* Background in one or more areas of the Foundation's work, such as plastics, fashion, food, finance, packaging, innovation, design, higher education, or communications.
* Familiarity with circular economy principles and their real-world application.
Remuneration
Salary package: Circa £59,000 per annum dependent on experience level plus generous holiday allowance (25 days plus UK Bank Holidays plus discretionary organisational extra days leave), generous parental leave; enhanced pension options/private health scheme after 6 months; wellbeing programme.
