Working closely with engineers and technical specialists, you will help shape the platform that powers compute-intensive workflows and internal development environments. You’ll have the chance to: Design, deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters supporting large-scale compute workloads Build and maintain on-premise infrastructure used for high-performance processing and development environments Manage Linux-based systems and containerised services Configure networking, storage and load balancing across distributed platforms Improve the performance, reliability and scalability of internal compute clusters Develop automation and infrastructure-as-code workflows to streamline deployments Collaborate closely with engineering teams to support evolving technical workloads Contribute to the technical direction of the infrastructure platform Your work will directly support engineers running complex workloads, making this role ideal for someone who enjoys building infrastructure that enables innovation. About You You are an engineer who enjoys working close to the platform layer, building reliable systems that other teams depend on. You may have experience with: Kubernetes cluster deployment and management Linux systems administration Container technologies such as Docker Distributed systems and networking concepts Managing infrastructure for compute-intensive workloads Infrastructure-as-code or automation tooling Troubleshooting complex infrastructure and platform issues Additional experience that could be useful includes: Python scripting or automation CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Cloud platforms such as AWS Supporting data processing or research-driven engineering environments Even if your experience doesn’t match every point above, candidates with transferable platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure experience are encouraged to explore this opportunity.
