Vacancy for Teaching Assistant TA2b. Temporary in the first instance to 31/03/2026. Post is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8.30 am – 3.15 pm to include a 15 minute break mid-morning and a 30 minute lunch). Term-time only. Location: St Bede's Catholic High School, Ormskirk, St Anne's Road, Ormskirk, Lancashire, L39 4TA.
Salary: Grade 5 SCP 6-11 £25,989 – £28,142 pro rata (from £17,818 to £19,294 actual).

Essential Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2, or above, qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
* Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
Essential Experience
* Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
* Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment
* Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
Desirable Experience
* Experience of administrative work
