Role Overview
The Community Drug & Alcohol Team (CDAT) service is seeking an organised, proactive, and compassionate Team Secretary to support the delivery of high‑quality services for individuals experiencing problems with substance misuse.
The role ensures the smooth day‑to‑day running of the team by providing high‑quality secretarial and administrative support, helping the service deliver timely, effective and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
* Manage clinical correspondence and maintain accurate patient records.
* Arrange appointments and meetings for team members.
* Support the coordination of team services.
* Act as the first point of contact for patients, families, and partner services, ensuring enquiries are handled sensitively, professionally, and in line with confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Commitment to supporting the Community Drug and Alcohol Team.
* English and/or Welsh speaking; knowledge of Welsh is desirable.
* Experience in a Band 3 administrative or team secretary role is desirable but not mandatory.
