We currently have a vacancy for a Project Officer to join our Change and Transformation team.
We are looking for a motivated and organised Project Officer to support the planning, coordination and delivery of a portfolio of change, transformation and improvement projects across the organisation. Working as part of the Change and Transformation function and reporting to a Programme Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered effectively on time and to a high standard. You will take responsibility for delivering low to medium cost and risk projects independently, as well as managing defined work packages within larger, complex programmes.
As Project Officer, you will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, including Finance, Legal, Procurement and service teams, as well as external suppliers and partners. This is a varied role, that combines strong project management discipline with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

The Role
Reporting into the Programme Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of change, transformation and improvement projects, including leading low to medium cost and risk projects and managing defined work packages within larger projects and programmes.
Working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project activities are aligned with organisational processes, timelines and quality standards.
Applying project management procedures to monitor progress, risks, issues, budgets and dependencies, and preparing clear reports, briefings and documentation to support effective decision-making.

About You
You will have the following key skills, attributes, education, and experience:
Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience, with practical experience working in a project or programme environment.
Experience of supporting or delivering projects through the full project lifecycle, including planning, delivery, monitoring and reporting.
Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2 or equivalent), with a relevant qualification or willingness to work towards one.
Experience of working effectively with a range of stakeholders, building positive working relationships and communicating clearly in written and verbal formats.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own workload, meet deadlines and balance competing priorities.
