Supervising Family Law Solicitor Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 per annum (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Hybrid – Reading Office Days: Monday & Tuesday Role Overview This role involves managing a varied caseload of family law matters while supervising and supporting junior team members. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality legal services, particularly in legally aided matters, while ensuring strong client care and compliance. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality client care to vulnerable individuals and families Manage a caseload including non-molestation orders, Child Arrangements Orders, divorce, and private children matters Prepare legal documentation such as court applications, witness statements, bundles, and briefs for counsel Manage files efficiently using the Leap case management system Attend client meetings, conferences, and liaise with counsel Advise clients and progress cases with courts and relevant professionals Manage Legal Aid applications via CCMS, ensuring compliance Meet or exceed billing targets and contribute to financial performance Supervise and support paralegals and administrative staff Adapt to additional responsibilities in line with business needs Essential Skills & Experience Qualified Solicitor with appropriate supervisory accreditation Experience working with Legal Aid and CCMS Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Team-oriented with a collaborative approach Confident using IT systems and legal software Excellent drafting, communication, and client care skills Benefits Annual bonus scheme Working hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm (Monday to Friday) Hybrid working (minimum 2 days in office – Monday & Tuesday) 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays On-site parking Shuttle service Discounted gym membership Free refreshments in the office Training and development opportunities 5 days paid study leave If you would like more information on the role please contact Ellie at Puro Associates on 01904 571760
