Plumber \n\nSouthampton/Portsmouth\n\nPay: Up to £37,000 per annum + Company Van Hours: Permanent, Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm)\n\nThe Opportunity:\n\nAre you a skilled and customer-focused plumber looking to make a real difference in people's homes? We're looking for an experienced Plumber to join our team as part of the Westminster Council social housing contract. This is a rewarding, full-time, permanent role within Morgan Sindall Property Services, supporting local residents through high-quality repairs and maintenance work.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCarry out a variety of plumbing tasks including repairs to pipework, taps, toilets, hot water systems, and drainage.\n\nRespond to both emergency callouts and routine maintenance jobs within occupied homes.\n\nDiagnose plumbing faults and determine effective, long-lasting repair solutions.\n\nEnsure all work is completed in line with safety regulations, industry standards, and contract requirements.\n\nUse PDA or mobile devices to accurately log job details and completion notes.\n\nDeliver excellent customer service when liaising with residents.\n\nCollaborate with other members of the repairs and maintenance team as required.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n\nNVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Plumbing.\n\nCSCS Blue Card (ideally).\n\nDemonstrable experience in domestic plumbing - preferably in social housing or responsive maintenance settings.\n\nGood working knowledge of plumbing regulations and health & safety standards.\n\nStrong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.\n\nClear communication and customer service skills.\n\nFull UK driving licence (essential).\n\nCompany Benefits:\n\nCompany van (for work use only).\n\nProfit Share Discretionary Annual Bonus Scheme.\n\n26 days holiday + Bank Holidays.\n\nEnhanced pension contribution scheme.\n\nHealthcare Cash Plan (including 24hr GP, dental, optical, physiotherapy, and more).\n\nRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
