Ian Farmer Associates, a member of RSK Group, are looking for a Stores Person to join their team in Washington, Tyne & Wear, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position. Responsibilities include: The duties and responsibilities associated with this position include, but are not limited to the following: Sample receipt, storage and disposal. Maintaining accurate records of samples stored. Maintaining a clean and safe environment. Ensuring samples are stored correctly to avoid deterioration. Operating of a forklift truck (training provided). Required experience: 5 GCSEs including English, Maths and Science. Previous experience in a store is advantageous. Good numeracy and literacy: able to write clearly and accurately. A good eye for detail, diligent in following procedures. Good IT skills, especially the use of MS Excel. There will be an element of manual handling involved in the role daily which will require moving heavy items on a frequent basis.
