Job Summary
* Motor vehicle technician/ Mechanic experienced in servicing & maintaining light commercial vehicles, Ford transits, Mercedes sprinters an advantage.
* Fully equipped Mobile workshop
* To Service & Maintain DHL International UK Ltd Courier delivery vehicles based inside DHL Stations based in Bristol, Newport, Swindon & Eastleigh.
* Mobile Vehicle Technician- IMI Level 2/3 Qualification or equivalent.
* EV Qualified an advantage.
· Fully qualified to City and Guilds (or equivalent) standard in light commercial vehicle maintenance with at least seven years' experience.
· Responsibility for routine servicing and repairs, brakes, electronic and mechanical fault finding, electrics, MOT preparation and all other duties associated with this role.
Working onsite at various locations performing routine maintenance and servicing at our client's premises repairing their fleet of courier vehicles.
We do Not undertake road side repairs.
Location Bristol/Surrounding Region.
Salary and Benefits
£39,000k- £45,000k dependant on experience.
Monthly bonus scheme average of £3,000k per annum.

Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify vehicle issues accurately.
* Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts efficiently.
* Execute assembly tasks during repairs or upgrades, ensuring all components are fitted correctly and securely.
* Carry out welding and other fabrication tasks as required to repair or modify vehicle structures.
* Assist in the maintenance of workshop tools and equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness.
* Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering advice on vehicle care.
* Handle heavy lifting safely when moving or installing large parts or components.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise future breakdowns.
* Document all work performed accurately in accordance with company procedures.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in vehicle repair or maintenance is preferred but not essential; relevant training programmes are available for development.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
* Knowledge of assembly processes and general maintenance practices within automotive settings.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Good customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
* Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and work in various workshop conditions.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous but not mandatory.
