Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine R&D is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Cross-TA Project and Planning Leader. This hybrid role will be located in High Wycombe, United Kingdom.
Principal Responsibilities
* Cross-TA Strategy and Operations:
o Strategic coordination and project management of select initiatives across therapeutic areas.
o Act as cross-TA representative on strategic improvement projects to ensure alignment.
o Collaborate with TA Heads to align activities with strategic goals, meet deliverables, and use resources efficiently.
o Communicate project updates, challenges, and outcomes to TA Heads and stakeholders effectively.
o Provide strategic insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
o Coordinate and oversee Business Development activities across TAs, including full-time equivalent (FTE) assessments.
* Agile Coaching:
o Promote the adoption of agile methodologies and practices across the organization.
o Provide coaching, mentoring, and training on agile principles, practices, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
o Offer mentoring to leaders to champion and sustain agile culture.
o Support teams in transition to agile ways of working and mindset shifts.
o Lead a community of practice and facilitate agile events such as stand‑ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
o Facilitate After Action Reviews to champion continuous learning and improvement.
o Measure and report on agile maturity and organizational progress, including oversight of backlog prioritization.
Qualifications
* A bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
* At least 8 years of experience in project management or process improvement, with a focus on strategy and operations.
* Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry and in Regulatory Affairs.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Experience in agile / Scrum methodology; Certified ScrumMaster or Certified Agile Coach preferred.
* Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across diverse teams.
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, planning, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
* Proven ability to manage disagreements and tensions constructively and respectfully.
* Ability to thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Ability to maintain a neutral stance, fostering a safe and trusting environment for candid discussions.
* Ability to interact at all levels within a matrix organization.
