Overview
Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire
Salary: up to £51,000 per annum + onsite allowances (total package £55k+). Overtime available – Mon-Fri at a flat rate; Sat/Sun/Bank Holidays at x1.5.
Hours: Week 1 – Monday to Friday 07:45 to 16:30 (15:15 finish on Friday); Week 2 – Monday to Thursday 07:45 to 16:30. Enjoy every other Friday off.
Role overview
Due to the high level security clearance required for this position, we can only accept British Nationals who have been in the UK for a minimum of 10 years.

What you will do
* Lead and develop the EMCOR Electrical New Works team through effective communication, training and development, ensuring staff are competent to undertake key tasks.
* Support and develop a managed, cost‑effective maintenance programme for site services buildings, plant, systems and equipment.
* Evaluate customer requirements and produce proposals including cost and timescales; monitor progress of new works and remedial works to agree costs and timescales, ensuring works are completed to customer and regulatory standards.
* Ensure continuity of essential site systems and equipment.
* Provide engineering services to design, plan and project manage minor site refurbishment and equipment installations.
* Support and manage improvements to Safety, Health and Environment and risk management processes, monitoring safety performance with the site HSE&Q team and identifying areas for improvement.
* Support the Services Manager – Assets in managing departmental human resources and operating budget; ensure all financial management, forecasting and reporting requirements are met.
What you will need
* Minimum engineering qualification of NVQ level 4 or equivalent.
* Good knowledge of management disciplines in electrical works.
* Experience in a supervisory environment with electrical works as a core responsibility.
* Commercial awareness with a sound knowledge of budget preparation, negotiation and management.
* Strong people management, leadership, decision-making and communication skills.
* Resilient under pressure and able to converse confidently with staff, suppliers and customers at all levels.
