Job Description
We're recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation and play a key role in delivering strategic procurement initiatives, driving value for money, and supporting organisational growth.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing procurement and category strategies
Leading end-to-end tendering and sourcing activities
Managing supplier relationships and contract performance
Delivering cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives
Providing expert procurement advice to stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and best practice
Identifying opportunities for innovation, sustainability, and social value
We're looking for someone with:
Strong procurement and category management experience
Knowledge of UK procurement legislation
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Experience managing complex tenders and contracts
A commercial mindset with a focus on delivering value
You will be qualified to CIPS level 4 or equivalent and have extensive knowledge of EU and UK public procurement law
