The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated and talented person to join our team in the Hampshire Futures service, supporting our statutory NEET (Not in Education, Employment and Training) duties. A significant part of the permanent position will involve working with care experienced young people to progress and sustain positive outcomes.
Hampshire Futures is part of the Participation & Lifelong Learning service, within Hampshire County Council’s Children’s Services Directorate.
What you’ll do:
This key position holds the responsibility for working with young people to prevent them becoming NEET and with those who are NEET to secure positive destinations. You will have extensive experience of working with and supporting young people including those with care experience, provide impartial, personalised advice and guidance tailored to individual needs, helping them t o explore opportunities, understand pathways, and overcome barriers. Experience of working with young people with SEN/SEND will be welcomed.
You will work as part of a team to ensure the Service meets its obligations to complete its statutory NEET and September Guarantee data returns.
