Overview
We are seeking an experienced Photocopier Field Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in delivering exceptional service and technical support to clients across the Manchester area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of digital copiers and printers, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Experience working with Ricoh and Sharp devices will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out on-site installation, service, and repair of photocopiers, printers, and multifunctional devices.
* Diagnose and resolve technical faults using schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic tools.
* Deliver a high standard of customer service, maintaining professionalism and clear communication at all times.
* Collaborate with internal technical teams to resolve complex or escalated issues promptly.
* Keep accurate service records, including details of repairs, parts used, and customer feedback.
* Conduct routine maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
* Adhere to all company and industry safety procedures during on-site visits.

Requirements
* Proven experience as a Field Engineer, ideally within the copier or printer service industry.
* Strong understanding of mechanical and electronic systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and wiring diagrams.
* Hands-on experience using standard hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
* Working knowledge of basic networking concepts (e.g., IP configuration, connectivity issues) is desirable.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.

Requirements
Proven hands-on experience working specifically on petrol station forecourts is required. Experience with installing and maintaining ACO drainage systems, manhole interceptors, and concrete finishes is necessary. A strong understanding of forecourt-specific health and safety requirements is needed, showing familiarity with safety protocols on petrol forecourts. Experience working in demanding site conditions, including physically challenging environments and traveling/staying away as part of the job. Experience using industry-relevant certifications or tickets such as a valid UK PIA (Petroleum Industry Association) Passport and digger/excavator tickets is desirable but not essential. General experience in civil groundworks and concrete finishing is also a plus.
