What does the job involve? The Greater Wash (GRW) unit of the North Sea Region (NOS) has responsibility for the safe and efficient operations of the Dudgeon (402MW), Hywind Scotland (30MW) and Sheringham Shoal (317MW) offshore wind farms. As part of the NOS strategy to realise value from establishing geographical hubs, Great Yarmouth will serve as the central operations base from which operations and maintenance (O&M) activities for both Dudgeon and Sheringham Shoal will be managed. The new model will establish a shared logistical concept whereby a Service Operations Vessel (SOV) and Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) are used to carry out operations. Operations on the assets will be carried out under a common set of safety rules and resources will be given the necessary training to be able to work across both wind farms enabling greater flexibility. Integrating the two assets will set up the GRW for further scale and value creation and growth opportunities such as the Dudgeon and Sheringham Shoal Extension projects. What will my tasks be? Within this position, your key tasks will be to: Experienced troubleshoot ing technician for DD platform. Continual/ maintain Troubleshoot training and competence. Utilise SAP (Digital Worker) to record work and raise defects. Quality assure content of Work Orders and Work release process. Capable to execute full suite of AWP's within Equinor EESR. Conduct inspections, servicing and troubleshooting on 6MW DD WTG. Participate /support vendor meetings and the Asset Engineer. Support knowledge and competency sharing between shifts and teams. And for this specific position, we are also looking for: City and Guilds Level 3 NVQ Mechanical or E lectrical relevant discipline (Electrical preferred). Strong practical background in electrical or mechanical disciplines. DD L7 Authorised Technician qualified. Will have minimum 2-5 years’ experience at technician level. Specialist knowledge of specific equipment with a broad understanding of theory and principles in a professional discipline. Deep knowledge in SCADA/operating systems and how to use data to predict faults and suggest improvements. Willingness to m aintain Authorized Technician Competence. Commit to a 2 week on, 2 week off SOV rotation. Is an expert in fault finding of the relevant WTG platform and expert in using OEM tools. Existing understanding of SAP would be benificial.
