The role:
This newly created role within our Marketing team will take ownership of our core digital operations, spanning websites, apps and social media. You’ll play a key role in shaping the digital customer journey, enhancing user experience and ensuring our platforms support the needs of our audiences at every stage.
As Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll help plan and implement digital strategies that support brand growth, improve lead generation and build strong digital engagement. You will also manage ongoing development and optimisation of our digital touchpoints and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistency, quality and innovation across all digital channels.
Responsibilities:
Digital strategy & implementation
9. Support the Director of Marketing in developing and delivering digital and social media strategies aligned with business goals.
10. Manage and optimise all brand websites and apps, ensuring seamless UX, performance and functionality.
11. Map and refine digital customer journeys to enhance engagement and support lead generation.
12. Oversee the digital development roadmap, coordinating with internal teams and external developers to deliver new features, pages and platforms.
13. Lead SEO strategy across all websites, ensuring on-page and technical SEO best practices are implemented to improve search visibility, increase organic traffic and support lead generation goals.
14. Use analytics to track ROI, assess performance and make data-informed recommendations for improvement.
15. Stay informed of emerging digital trends, technologies and best practices to ensure the Group’s digital assets remain innovative and competitive.
Content management
16. Plan and manage content calendars across all digital and social platforms, focusing on relevance, engagement and brand-aligned storytelling.
17. Oversee the production of high-quality content, including copy, imagery and video, in collaboration with the Design team.
18. Manage digital and social content activities, including publishing, audience interaction, performance monitoring and optimisation.
19. Collaborate with influencers, partners and internal stakeholders to extend reach and enhance engagement.
Collaboration & brand governance
20. Act as a digital brand guardian, ensuring tone of voice, design and messaging remain consistent across all digital touchpoints.
21. Provide training, resources and guidance to internal teams on digital and social platforms, content creation and best practices.
22. Support the development and compliance with digital and social media policies.
Reporting & budgeting
23. Track, analyse and report on digital and social media performance, identifying trends and actionable insights.
24. Make strategic adjustments based on performance data to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
25. Manage budgets related to digital and social media activities, ensuring cost-effective delivery and maximum ROI.
Requirements and skills
26. Proven experience in website and/or app development, as well as managing digital content and social media for multiple brands, with a strong track record of growing audiences and driving engagement.
27. A degree or equivalent qualification in digital marketing, marketing, communications or a related field.
28. Demonstrable expertise in managing and optimising digital assets, with a solid understanding of user experience (UX) principles and digital customer journeys.
29. Proven ability to apply SEO best practices across diverse digital platforms, with a strategic understanding of how search performance drives marketing outcomes and lead generation.
30. Strong copywriting skills, capable of creating engaging, targeted content across multiple digital channels, along with experience overseeing visual and video content production in close collaboration with creative/design teams.
31. Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to monitor performance, interpret analytics and leverage insights to optimise digital strategies.
32. Commitment to staying at the forefront of emerging digital trends, technologies and best practices, with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
33. Extensive experience with social media management and digital marketing tools and systems, with advanced proficiency in Google Analytics.
34. Ability to manage budgets effectively and make cost-conscious decisions that maximise ROI.
35. A team player who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
