The role: We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias and a strong mechanical background to join the engineering team within a fast-paced poultry processing facility. The role is hands-on and involves maintaining, fault-finding, and improving production and site services equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Respond promptly to breakdowns and carry out effective electrical and mechanical fault-finding * Maintain and repair production machinery including conveyors, evisceration equipment, packing machinery and chillers * Complete planned preventative maintenance activities and support continuous improvement * Fault-find on PLC-controlled systems, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels (programming not required) * Carry out mechanical tasks including work on gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic fabrication * Ensure all work is completed in line with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards * Accurately record maintenance activities using the site CMMS * Support shutdowns, installations, and site engineering projects * Work closely with production and hygiene teams to minimise downtime Sk...
