I would prefer an in house sitter. May need to use services more than once as I am back and for to hospital at the moment, which I envisage could be more than one day. Roo is a 1 eyed blind boy. Sleeps a lot of the day but enjoys a short slowish walk. He knows where we live very well, but can struggle sometimes on a walk but with encouragement and direction he will cope fine. I don’t have a garden but when not on walks Roo will have a wee in the lane alongside house. (At his own pace…. Slow) he will generally indicate he needs the loo by ‘looking’ towards front door but if you ask him he will respond. He will growl at other dogs irrespective of size, but I just tell the other walker he is grumpy and stop till they walk past. Loves adults but wary of loud children. His hearing has become extremely keen and he may jump away, even indoors. Treats after he goes to loo when not on walk, then one when we get home from walk, he will let you know. He has started to suffer with terrible separation anxiety since going blind, and I’m concerned about my neighbours.
