Are you looking for a role that offers both variety and reward, with a focus on supporting and coaching apprenticeship learners as they progress through their learning programmes towards the End Point Assessment? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.
MTD Training, an OFSTED-rated Good provider of apprenticeships, is looking for an experienced Skills Coach to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be highly competent in management/leadership and project management (minimum of 3 years required), experienced in coaching individuals or teams and will hold a teaching qualification (TAQA/A1/D32/D33 and a Level 5 management qualification is also desirable).
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the support and development of a caseload of up to 40 learners.
* Monthly remote coaching visits with learners.
* Accurate and timely evidence documentation using our e-learning platform.
* Input into curriculum design and programme building.
* Support towards learners completing Maths and English functional skills.
* Uphold MTD’s core values including the Prevent agenda, British values, and our commitment towards the safeguarding of our learners.
* Commitment to own Continuing Professional Development.
Experience/Qualifications
* Occupational competence in management/project management ( minimum of 3 years required ).
* Experience in coaching individuals or teams (required).
* Teaching qualification (required).
Skills
* High level of interpersonal skills, communication, and professional conduct.
* High level of attention to detail and a “right first time” attitude.
* Good IT skills and willingness to adapt to new systems.
* Good practical ability and English and Maths.
* Negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
* Positive attitude and willingness adapt to change.
Salary & Benefits
£32k - £34k dependant on experience and qualifications, b onus paid on full and timely completion of each learner, 22 days annual leave entitlement (plus Bank Holidays) and significant t raining and development opportunities.

As part of MTD Training’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our learners and we expect all staff, associates, and contractors to share this commitment.
All new staff will be expected to complete safeguarding training and agree to a DBS check following any offer of employment (the level will be role dependant). If you wish to disclose any previous criminal history prior to interview, please do so and we will be happy to discuss this with you.
References will be sought on shortlisted candidates, where possible prior to interview. A minimum of two references must be obtained, one of which should be from the current or most recent employer.
