Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and dynamic Community Stroke Rehabilitation Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy, interdisciplinary rehabilitation service, supporting adults to maximise independence, participation, and quality of life in their own homes and communities.
Main duties of the job
* Provide a holistic assessment to clients with diverse or complex presentations, working within the community as part of an inter‑professional team.
* Provide specific occupational therapy intervention as required.
* Key work individual cases as appropriate.
* Provide Occupational Therapy advice to other colleagues within the team.
* Participate as a member of the team.
* Manage a clinical caseload.
* Support service improvement and delivery within the team.
* Participate in health promotion and education of staff, clients and families.

Qualifications
* BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy.
* Current registration with HCPC.
* Postgraduate qualification or evidence of relevant post‑qualification professional development.
Experience
* Significant rotational Band 5 experience.
* Experience of training/supervision.
* Experience of multi‑professional working.
* Experience of using client‑centred goals.
* Experience in community stroke rehabilitation (desirable).
* Experience of providing training and delivering presentations.
* Experience in Mental Health (desirable).
