Join to apply for the Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer role at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS FT.
Band 2 37.5 hours per week - Permanent
Working within the Pharmacy Department at Tameside General Hospital, this role supports our team of pharmacists and technicians in the provision of a dispensing and distribution service to wards, departments and clinics within the Trust.
Responsibilities
* Support pharmacists and technicians in the Dispensary, Aseptic Dispensing Unit and Pharmacy Receipt & Distribution.
* Visit hospital wards and departments to provide a comprehensive pharmaceutical service.
* Undertake a GPhC approved course in Pharmacy Stock Management.
Qualifications
* Previous pharmacy experience advantageous (full training will be provided for those with no experience).
* GCSEs in Maths and English A–C (or equivalent); basic computer knowledge desirable.
* Functional skills can be undertaken alongside the stock management course.
