Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ social, emotional, and environmental needs to develop tailored intervention plans.
* Provide counseling and support to individuals, families, and groups facing challenges such as mental health issues, abuse, or poverty.
* Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies to coordinate effective care and resources.
* Lead and supervise junior social workers, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth.
* Advocate for clients’ rights and access to services, ensuring equitable treatment and addressing systemic barriers.
* Maintain detailed case records and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
* Participate in the development and implementation of social service policies, programs, and community outreach initiatives.
* Respond to crisis situations promptly, offering crisis intervention and support to clients in urgent need.
* Evaluate program effectiveness and contribute to continuous improvement strategies based on data and client feedback.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) required; Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) strongly preferred.
* Current valid license or registration to practice as a Social Worker in the relevant jurisdiction.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in social work, with proven expertise in case management and client assessment.
* Strong understanding of social welfare laws, policies, and ethical standards governing social work practice.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse populations sensitively and effectively.
* Demonstrated leadership experience, including supervising staff and managing complex cases.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast‑paced environment.
* Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and utilizing social work information systems.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in social work.
