Third Party Risk Management Lead – S4 Procurement – Unity Place
Location: Unity Place – Multiple Locations (prefers Unity Place, but also considers Bradford and Glasgow)
Santander UK is looking for an experienced leader in third‑party risk management to develop and champion a world‑class risk framework aligned with our strategic objectives. The successful candidate will drive a culture of proactive risk awareness, support smart procurement, and build sustainable partner relationships.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Third‑Party Risk Management Framework and operations, including governance, technology, and reporting to enable timely risk identification, assessment, management and reporting.
* Develop and maintain risk standards, operating procedures and technology to meet Santander policies and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders – risk experts, procurement, business functions and service directors – to deliver the TPRM strategy.
* Govern value‑added management information and reporting to senior management to facilitate risk understanding and decision‑making.
Professional Experience
* Senior level experience in risk management with demonstrable understanding of third‑party supplier risk (required).
* Experience designing and implementing strategic improvement plans with measurable multi‑year benefits (required).
* Understanding of how to achieve commercial outcomes through procurement and the role of third‑party risk (required).
Languages
* English (Required)

* Strong interpersonal skills, able to persuade and influence across the organisation (required).
* Excellent ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear language (required).
* Ability to build trusted relationships with customers, vendors and peers (required).
* Proven experience using tools, data and best practices to identify, assess and manage operational risk exposures, ideally within financial services (required).
