Vehicle Parts Advisor – Swansea | Full-Time Automotive Role with Excellent Benefits
Our client, a reputable franchise-approved automotive dealership located in Swansea, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Parts Advisor to join their dedicated team. Duties as a Parts Advisor:
* Handling trade and retail customer parts enquiries promptly and professionally
* Accurately identifying, picking, and dispatching parts orders
* Managing parts stock control and inventory
* Supplying parts to Vehicle Technicians in the workshop efficiently
* Maintaining excellent customer service standards both face-to-face and via telephone
* Using electronic parts catalogue systems daily, with potential experience in Kerridge/Keyloop being advantageous
* Collaborating with the Parts Manager to ensure stock levels and product availability are optimised
Requirements for the Parts Advisor Position:
* Previous experience in vehicle parts sales or workshop supply, ideally within a franchise-approved dealership or motor factor
* IT literate, with experience using electronic parts catalogue systems
* UK driving licence with minimal points
* Strong customer service and sales skills, with a friendly, confident telephone manner
* Resident in or near Swansea
* Motivated, reliable, and able to work well within a team environment
The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. The role involves working 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:00am to 12:00pm, with additional pay at time and a half.
