We are currently recruiting a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive school in Sparkbrook. This role is ideal for someone experienced in supporting children with additional needs and who is open to providing personal care where required.
The Role:
*
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
*
Support children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
*
Assist with personal care, mobility, and wellbeing where required
*
Support learning activities in and out of the classroom
*
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support
Requirements:
*
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or a similar relevant qualification
*
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
*
Willingness and confidence to support personal care
*
Patient, compassionate, and resilient approach
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
*
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
