Job Description
We're looking for a kind, creative, and patient SEN Tutor to support a delightful young person in Chippenham who is transitioning into Year 9. This learner has a diagnosis of global learning delay, an EHCP, and is currently working on a Key Stage 2 curriculum in both Maths and English.
They've expressed a love for Jellycats and anything 'cute', so we're hoping to find someone who can bring a sense of fun and warmth into their learning environment.
As a n SEN Tutor you will:

+ Experience working with SEN learners, ideally with knowledge of global learning delay
+ Familiarity with EHCPs and how to implement them in a tuition setting
+ A gentle and encouraging approach to learning
+ Ability to make lessons engaging and accessible, using creative and visual resources
+ Someone who can build a trusting relationship and celebrate small wins

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:

+ Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools- ESSENTIAL

# Background in SEN education or therapeutic support
# Experience supporting children in community or outdoor settings
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
* Hold right to work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide references upon request
* Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
