About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive school community in Towcester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic practitioner with a passion for supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
You will work with a small class of pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties, delivering tailored lessons that support both academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual needs
* Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
* Develop and implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCO, and external professionals
* Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
* Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with SEND pupils (preferred but not essential)
* Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies
* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
