About You About The Role Flexi-Bank Domestic & Laundry Assistant Location: Ingfield Manor School Contract: 0‑hour Flexi-Bank (shifts as agreed) Term Time Only: 39 weeks Pay: £12.21–£13.31 per hour (dependant on experience) Ingfield Manor School is looking for reliable and detail‑oriented Domestic & Laundry Assistants to join our Flexi‑Bank team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment across our school buildings, Sixth Form centre and on‑site accommodation. This busy and varied role involves general cleaning, laundry duties and supporting the wider team to keep our facilities running smoothly. What You’ll Do Cleaning & Hygiene Maintain high standards of cleanliness across classrooms, offices, workspaces and accommodation areas. Clean toilets and bathrooms, restocking soap and hand towels. Vacuum carpets, remove waste, spot‑clean marks, and support with periodic carpet shampooing. Sweep and mop floors daily. Clean glass panels, doors, cabinets and partitions. Clean kitchen areas including work surfaces, appliances and bins. Dust, hoover and empty bins in office areas. Support with additional cleaning tasks across the school as required. Laundry Duties Provide a full laundry service, including washing, drying, ironing and sorting clothing and bedding. Prepare student bedrooms and change bedding. Collect laundry from classrooms and other areas. Complete minor sewing repairs when required. Maintain laundry equipment and report faults promptly.
