Joining an award-winning procurement team as a graduate you will provide procurement support services to the University with the guidance of the professional procurement team. It is expected that for the first few months the post holder will work closely with line management to gain a good understanding of processes and systems, after which the post holder will be expected to conduct the duties set out and will have responsibility for managing their own work portfolio. The post-holder benefits from funding that will be provided for the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications. About the person: Must hold a Bachelor's degree (minimum 2:2). A confirmed interest in pursuing a career in procurement / contracting is crucial. Up to date knowledge of a wide range of IT systems, including MS Word and Excel. Experience in planning and organising workload to meet deadlines.
