Role Overview
We're now looking for our first dedicated Operations Manager to take full ownership of our end-to-end operational function — covering everything from supply chain and logistics to inventory planning, order fulfilment, and process optimisation.
This is a pivotal hire for Gymproluxe, designed to take weight off the Founder and help build the operational backbone of a fast-scaling D2C fitness brand. The ideal candidate is hands-on, commercially sharp, and highly organised, with strong experience managing e-commerce operations in a growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-End Operations: Own daily operations across supply chain, fulfilment, and logistics, ensuring smooth and efficient order delivery.
* 3PL & Logistics Management: Oversee relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers, ensuring service-level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
* Inventory & Demand Planning: Maintain accurate stock levels, forecast demand, and ensure inventory is aligned with product launches and campaigns.
* Supplier Management: Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers, managing sampling, production timelines, and quality control processes.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements across operations, logistics, and fulfilment to support scale.
* Wholesale Operations: Support any B2B/retail partnerships, ensuring smooth order processing, delivery, and account servicing.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to align on launches, promotional campaigns, and overall business goals.
* Data & Reporting: Track and report on key operational KPIs, providing insights to support decision-making and cost optimisation.
* Problem Solving: Proactively troubleshoot operational challenges and implement solutions quickly to maintain a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
* 4+ years' experience in e-commerce operations, ideally within consumer goods, fitness, or lifestyle brands.
* Strong computer skills using Excel and Google Sheets to a high standard
* Strong knowledge of Shopify, 3PL management, and global fulfilment processes.
* Proven experience with supplier negotiation and vendor management.
* Excellent organisational and project management skills, able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to work with data and generate actionable insights.
* A proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working cross-functionally.
