An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Practice Business Manager at Southgates and the Woottons Surgeries, a 10-partner practice, providing a caring, patient-focused and efficient service to over 23,000 patients.
The practice operates across two sites, Southgates Surgery, located in the historical Southgate area of Kings Lynn and The Woottons Surgery, approximately four miles away in the village of North Wootton.
The practice runs a popular surgical unit which offers a variety of surgical treatments and advice on a referral basis. They have a team of well-respected surgeons and theatre staff working in a CQC-regulated service.
ThePartners are looking for an exceptional leader with strong business management and financial skills, preferably with a degree-level qualification in finance/accounting. It is essential that they have previous experience of financial management including forecasting, budgets, maximising income, cash-flow and identifying new business opportunities, as well as an understanding of strategic management, managing a large team, HR, project management, and public relations.
The successful candidate will need to be able to work collaboratively with the partners, both as a group and individually, to develop and implement strategies. They will lead a large practice team, including the departmental managers and the surgical team.

They will review the staffing structure and utilisation of the buildings and propose and implement change where required.
The partners are open to change and looking to develop future systems, new business opportunities and services, in addition to those already offered to support patient satisfaction and financial stability.
Previous primary care management experience is not essential for this role, however, individuals without previous primary care experience will have to demonstrate transferable knowledge and skills.
