A highly personalised supported living service in Shrewsbury is seeking a Service Manager to lead a small, established team supporting a female adult with autism and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate and develop a skilled support team
*
Deliver safe, consistent, person-led care using Active Support and Positive Behaviour Support approaches
*
Manage rotas, safeguarding, compliance, and risk
*
Build strong relationships with family, advocates, and health professionals
*
Promote independence, inclusion, and individual growth
*
Foster a service culture built on dignity, respect, and collaboration
You will work closely with the individual and her family, supported by a dedicated team already in place who know her well.
About You
We’re looking for someone who leads with heart and purpose.
Essential:
*
Experience managing or supervising within social care
*
Confident with safeguarding, compliance, and service delivery
*
Strong people leadership and mentoring skills
*
Full UK driving licence and access to a business-insured vehicle
*
Working toward or holding Level 3–5 Health & Social Care qualification
*
Emotionally resilient, reliable, and values-led
Desirable:
*
Experience with autism, learning disabilities, or non-verbal communication
*
Background in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
*
Familiarity with community-based services and multidisciplinary teams
