We have an exciting opportunity for a National Site Support Handler to join our Bodily Injury team! In this role you'll provide assistance to the Site Support team, Team Leaders, and the Bodily Injury Site Lead. You'll build strong relationships with the Bodily Injury team to understand their requirements and support operational and people plans.
What you'll be doing
* Assist in the management of resources within the department, for example reviewing holiday requests, authorising if appropriate and completing tracking holiday leave. Highlight in advance when maximum holiday leave is reaching its limits.
* Track and collate all instances of leave (including family leave, maternity and paternity etc), highlighting emerging trends and issues.
* Support the CSU function to ensure availability for work allocation purposes is maximised.
* Schedule training plans as requested.
* Work with each site support team member to ensure BI teams' activities are compliant with key business and technical processes and are aligned with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor and respond to queries raised via Site Support Mailbox.
* Produce daily/weekly/monthly MI as required and use data to assist in proactively identifying trends. Identify innovative ways to improve how data is displayed.
* Provide commentary based on national performance and highlight any emerging trends at department/site level.
* Maintain system access as appropriate, working collaboratively across departments and submitting UAC requests in a timely manner.
* Co-ordinate and adhere to compliance processes, for example, but not limited to payment authorisation.
* Assist other site support team members to unlock their full potential sharing good practices.
* Identify, own and manage the risks involved in running our business appropriate to the role, including dealing with H&S queries, DSE, ordering of equipment etc.
What you'll need
This role will require excellent communication skills and relationship building skills. We need someone who can use their own initiative and process work independently in a timely manner. You will be organised, have a strong eye for detail and ensure all information is delivered with accuracy. You will also need:
* Experience working with Microsoft Excel
* An interest in compiling, building and providing data
* Ability to apply yourself to DLG's internal platforms
