A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Daventry is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team from Monday 2nd September 2025. This is a full-time role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role:
* Full-time Year 5 class teaching position
* Working hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
* Responsible for planning, marking, and assessing pupil progress
* Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Collaborating with a supportive teaching team and leadership
✅ What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs and experienced teachers welcome
* Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment practices
* Confident in planning, marking and assessing independently
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A committed and reflective practitioner with a passion for teaching
